Employer: Private Position title: Primary Child Caregiver (NOC 4411) Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Anticipated start date: ASAP Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Location of work: Windsor, Ontario – 2 locations within the Riverside area Contact information: email Job description: • Bathe, dress, and feed the children; • Take children to and from appointments and other events; • Occasionally take children between parents’ homes; • Supervise and care for up to five children in employers residence; • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children; • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; • Attend to the emotional well-being of children; • Organize and participate in activities and outings to provide amusement and exercise; • Perform light housekeeping duties; and • Occasionally travel with family. Skills requirements: • Client focus, flexible and effective interpersonal skills; • Reliable and has excellent communication skills; • Must speak English; • First Aid and CPR certification are an asset; and • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends if needed. Work experience: • Minimum 1 year of experience taking care of children; and • Experience working with children under 12 years of age is an asset; Education: • Completion of High School is required; Optional: accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
