We are looking for a part-time nanny to help take care of our 1-year-old boy starting in September, with some work also in late August for you and babe to get to know each other better. Days would be Monday and Thursday from September - December. More hours would be available in the new year too, but the schedule is currently unknown (I teach at UVic and don't know what classes I'll be teaching yet). I will also likely need some more help around exam and midterm times when there's more marking. Our baby will be 13 months old in September. He's a lot of fun, very chatty, and good company, but very mobile so needs someone who can keep up. He's a sociable little guy, so we want someone who can support his growth and curiosity. Park playtime a definite need. Our elderly dog lives with us (a Springer spaniel) so must be comfortable with dogs, especially considering how closely he monitors our son.
