Seeking Reliable, Caring and Energetic Nanny

We are seeking an experienced nanny to provide quality care for our children. Starting August 2021 to allow for short transition period with existing nanny who is moving at the end of the summer. ~40-44 hours a week (e.g. Monday to Friday, 7:45 - 4:00). Competitive wages and close to downtown Calgary (Inglewood). We are seeking a nanny who is responsible, caring, energetic, patient, creative and fun. Must love babies and older children alike. Twin boys expected at the end of August. Job will initially include mother's helper for the babies, but really is primary care for three older kids (aged 4, 7 and 8 - starting Sept 1 will be kindergarten (half day), grades 2 & 4 (full days)), light house keeping duties, laundry and basic cooking. Ideally this is a long-term position that transitions into full time care for all children when I return to work following maternity leave in Sept 2022. Specific duties year one will include: - getting kids ready for school, including providing simple breakfast and preparing healthy school lunches and snacks - walking kids to school (two blocks from the house), leave at 8:25 for 8:35 start time - light housekeeping duties when three big kids are at school, including laundry, tidying up, dishes, sweeping/vacuuming, dinner prep - mothers helper with babies (e.g. with feeding, soothing, dressing, diapers, etc.) - pick up 4 year old from kindergarten (half day school ends 11:20) and look after for afternoon - including outdoor play (backyard, nearby parks), outings at nanny’s discretion (e.g. playdates, swimming, library, zoo), playing (e.g. imaginative play, games) and reading, assisting with writing, coloring and crafts -pick up older kids from full day school (3:20), provide snack and outdoor play Requirements: - Previous childcare experience (child development/education background an asset) with references - English fluency - Current police record check - Proof of COVID-19 vaccination Drivers license not a requirement.
