We are Valerie and Felix, a solid couple and parents to a happy and healthy 5 yo son and 3 yo daughter. We are also expecting a baby in April 2022. We believe in a positive parenting approach and value our children's thoughts and feelings. We are looking for an honest and reliable nanny/ family helper to support our family. We live in the Mile End of Montreal (near Parc and Bernard), a 10 min walk from a metro (Rosemont or Outremont stops) or a short bus ride. We are looking for someone to start at 7 am Monday to Friday. Duties include feeding both kids breakfast, getting them dressed, and both at daycare/school around 9 am (walking distance). On the return walk, run errands as needed (groceries, pharmacy, dry cleaners). Household tasks include laundry (washing, hanging certain items to dry, folding), making the beds, food prep, general tidying of play area, and taking care of our cat, Rocky's corner (litter, food, water). Our 14-year-old cat, Rocky is easy to care for and naps for most of the day. As of April, Valerie will need help with the baby during the day as well. Long term, the plan is to keep our baby at home with our nanny once Valerie returns to work in January 2023. We are a bilingual family that values languages and we are open to candidates that speak either English or French or another language. We will guarantee 30h/week declared (even if we ask for less hours). All hours over 30h/week are paid overtime. Hourly salary depends on experience. Minimum 3 weeks paid vacation.
