We are looking for a part-time EA/Tutor for our autistic 7-year-old son who attends a DL school for the 21/22 school year. We are looking for someone who can come to our home in Maple Ridge (no virtual/online) and teach academics, socials, science during school hours, with particular emphasis on helping him with his reading and writing. Hours are negotiable but would prefer someone who can be available Tues/Thurs mornings. We require a creative, energetic person who embraces neurodiversity and can build a relationship with our son who can be resistant to schoolwork. If you’re also open to taking him on some outings and/or taking care of an extra child sometimes (3-year-old girl) that would be a huge bonus!
