We are looking for a live-in caregiver/personal support worker for our 82-year-old mother. We are a Christian, God-fearing, loving Italian family. We are searching for a caregiver/personal support worker who would see this as a ministry opportunity to bless, encourage, and assist a widow with dementia who is in need of support and companionship. We are looking for someone with the following qualities and capabilities: God-fearing, committed, compassionate, trustworthy Christian caregiver/personal support worker (And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23) Be willing to read the bible and do devotionals with our mother Mature, responsible, and experienced in working with seniors (i. e., Retirement/Nursing Home) Experienced in working with dementia patients (i. e., capable of administering medications) Responsible for cooking and household responsibilities (i. e., cleaning/laundry) Experienced in providing assistance with bathing and personal grooming Capable of assisting our mother during the day and during the night to prevent falls Hard working with strong integrity and good work ethic Willing to work exclusively and full-time for our mother due to the COVID-19 pandemic The following will be required prior to acceptance for the position: Double COVID-19 vaccination Negative COVID-19 test upon commencing caregiving for our mother References In pursuing this position, the following will be provided: Room and board (private bedroom and bathroom) Food Sundays off We need someone who is able to start as soon as possible. Salary is negotiable and based upon experience.
