We are seeking a caregiver for an elderly man with mobility issues and the early onset of dementia. He is very pleasant and very easy to deal with on a personal level. The duties will include bathing, partial lifting and moving, giving medication at the correct time, cleaning up after my dad, light housework, bathroom assistance and dealing with incontinence. My dad is stubborn at times so patience, empathy is important for us. We are a loving family that would welcome the caregiver in as a part of us. The candidate must be honest, caring, hardworking, trustworthy, loyal and proactive. The position is mostly needed for evenings and overnight.
