Looking for a certified ,insured ,long term health care person with police check to help in home care for an 82 year old lady with Alzheimers disease. (9am-3pm) to help Elderly lady get her days started. We need someone who can help her with a healthy breakfast and lunch as well as selecting appropriate clothing for the day. Light house keeping to help her keep her small 1 bedroom apartment clean and tidy would also be required. She also would need a little reminder to take her prescription and act as a companion to walk her small doggie a couple times a day. This position will be located in the Ottawa /Franklin St area of Kitchener. The successful candidate will be pleasant, compassionate, and have some experience working with elderly Alzheimers patients.Our mother has always been a very independent woman who does not want everything done for her totally, but needs gentle help and guidance to feel useful in her own care.
