Hello, I am looking for a caregiver that can assist a 35 year old male who's severe anxiety causes them to be unable to function as an adult at home. The position requires: - assistance getting ready in the morning - assistance getting ready for bed - meal preparations and feeding - incontinence assistance (diapers) - bathing and clothing - companionship and entertainment (leading activities such as books, toys, television) Experience not necessarily required. Just compassion and understanding. He has paraphilic infantalism also known as adult baby syndrome as a coping mechanism due to his anxiety that has progressed to a point where a caregiver is needed. He lives in a regressed state wearing and using diapers 24/7, sleeping in an oversized crib, eating baby food, drinking from a bottle and his entertainment consists of things like family friendly shows, puzzles and toys such as lego blocks and playing with stuffed animals and interacts with those around him at the age of a 3 year old. Kindly note this is not a physical or mental disability but he feels he has no choice due to his anxiety being so overwhelming. The position therefore is really to be his nanny but I felt professionals with caregiver experience would be the most applicable.
