I am looking for someone to assist me with my household after I recovery from surgery. I have stage 3 cancer and will be having surgery on September 29 to remove my breasts. I just finished 8 rounds of intense chemotherapy, with another 10 months left. This will be a temporary position paid for by my employer. I am not sure on hours yet, if will all depend on how much pain I am in. I have 4 boys, 3 will be in school starting Tuesday! What I really need is a "mom" for myself. Someone to come in and take care of the boys and myself, cook meals, laundry, and possibly get on me to sit down and relax as I have been known to push through difficult situations with my stubborn "can do" attitude. I have gotten through 5 months of hard chemo, and while I lost my hair and gained some weight, I have been able to for the most part carry on my household without any help from anyone. I would be open to having someone start on a part time basis now (maybe 2 days a week) as I do need some help getting the household organized again. I am all for having the boys help with chores, but they do need some guidance. Thank you so much for your consideration.
