This position involves working with a friendly, hard of hearing elderly woman with mild dementia. Tasks include assisting with personal care (minor assist / supervision needed for dressing, toileting, bathing), meal preparation, light housekeeping, dispensing medication, taking client outside for walks (client uses wheelchair outside, walker inside) and companionship. This position would suit a friendly, outgoing, very patient person who is fluent in spoken and written english, able to adapt communication for hard of hearing, has excellent judgement, and is highly reliable and honest. Experience with elderly is an asset.
