Hello, My name is Sarah. My husband, Trevor, and I are looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to begin no later than October 18 Our girls, E and E, are 4.5 and 24 months old. They are bright, cheerful, adventurous, outdoorsy, and affectionate, (and they're great eaters with no allergies). We have two big, lovely dogs as well. They're friendly and love new friends. We are looking to establish a long-term child care relationship. We are saying goodbye to our beloved nanny as she is moving on to other things in her career, and we wish her all the best. Our girls have also been in a home daycare before, and both would provide a reference for our family and what we're like, should you wish. We value a strong relationship with our child care provider. The job of taking care of children is extremely undervalued in our society, and we believe it should be a championed and more highly regarded. That is how you can expect to be treated with us. We are looking for someone who approaches child care with a philosophy and attitude of respect. We believe that children should be respected from birth and would like to hire someone who shares the RIE philosophy. Our home environment has a lot of different types of play and development opportunities. The backyard is equipped with a swingset, climber and trampoline. Indoors, we have physical climbing and balancing things as well. Our kids love to be outdoors and go on adventures. When museums and beaches open again, we would love for you to take the girls on different trips around town. We would of course cover expenses. Our 4.5 yr old just started jk at a near by school. Pick up and drop off would sometimes be apart of your day, but it's close by and a simple process. ****We will offer paid sick days, paid vacation and wages are negotiable. **** We would also require help with cooking, light housekeeping/laundry etc. Both kids are still nappers (oldest does a quiet time), so you'll likely get at least 1.5 -2 hours to relax.
