I have 2 beautiful children age 5 and 7. Both attend unsworth elementary school, and I am looking for someone that can pick them up from school 4 days a week (Tuesday-Friday) and take care of them for 2.5 hours until my husband or I get home from work. I would also need extra care for the occasional professional day and early dismissals (about 1 per month) And 3 full days per week in the summer. A few full days over the Christmas break. After school Duties would include: -pick up from school (must meet my youngest at his classroom door) -unpack lunches and backpacks -make the kids an afternoon snack -pack lunches for the next day and put in the fridge -outside time each day, either at the school playground, or go for a walk, or to the park down the road from us -make kids dinner (they eat around 4:45, so that would be you last task before leaving for the day at 4:45) -some light meal prep - I like to have fresh veggies and fruits and salad cut up in the fridge at all times, so just maintaining that throughout the week. -drop my daughter off at dance class on Wednesdays, then bring my son back home (no need to pick her up after) -make sure my daughter does her homework- (very minimal). She could just sit at the counter practicing her words, or read aloud to you while you make them dinner or something. -read one story each day to my son. -plan activities for the kids on pro d days and for full summer days (which are somewhat flexible) -make sure the kids let the dog out to the backyard to go to the bathroom (they know how to clean up after her) you are welcome to take the dog (very small) on a walk, but it is not required. The MOST important thing is that my kids are safe and well cared for. I need someone reliable and trustworthy. Does this position sound like something you are interested in?
