I am looking for afterschool childcare for my 11 year old daughter in grade 7. She enjoys swimming and gymnastics. She plays the saxophone. We live in Cedar, which is a rural community just south of Nanaimo. We have chickens, 2 goats, 1 guinea pig and a cat. We are near the ocean and many beautiful hiking trails. I would like someone to do activities with my daughter afterschool, maintain routines, prepare dinner and do light housekeeping. There is no direct bus service so your own vehicle is a must. Typical hours would be from 2:30 to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. Availability in the evenings and on the weekend on occasion is a plus but not necessary. She has had 1 COVID vaccine and is waiting for the second. The rest of our family is double vaccinated.
