We are looking for a full time nanny (live-in or live-out) to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment for our 30 months little girl, and a little bit of support for our young boy (10). The nanny would work from Monday to Friday, from 8:30am-6pm (flexible) and sometimes one day during the weekend when necessary. We would like her to join us on family trips a few times a year. We would need baby-sitting once in a while during the evening and availabilities to travel with us to the chalet approx. one weekend per month during the winter season. We want our nanny to feel part of our family and stay with us many years. Please note that this job position requires a vaccine passport. Main Duties and Responsibilities * planning and preparing meals and snacks for the family * assisting baby when she is eating * cleaning and washing up after meals * changing diapers for baby * giving and supervising baths * dressing children appropriate to the child's activities * doing light housekeeping * running errands (grocery, pharmacy, etc. ) * washing, ironing and sewing * scheduling and coordinating children's activities * transporting children to school and other activities (walk or car) * playing and undertaking appropriate creative activities * undertaking appropriate educational activities and outdoor activities * planning and supervising rest, bed and nap times * reading to and with the children * helping with homework * tidying children's bedrooms and play areas * reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children * implementing daily routines * swimming supervision * taking out the trash, recycling and compost Education and Experience * high school graduate (optional) * needs to speak English or French * further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training * proven child care experience with references * First Aid and CPR certification (nice to have) * driving license and safe driving record (optional), if doesn't have one, be open to get one (fees would be covered by us) * can swim and supervise the kids in the pool Key Skills and Competencies * love of children * flexibility * adaptability * ability to multitask * emotional maturity * good judgment skills * planning and organizing skills * high energy level * enthusiastic * fun * nurturing * punctual * Trustworthy * communicative * reliable * likes cooking
