Hello! I am a mature, urban homesteading, homemaking wife. My husband and I live in the heart of Brantford, Ontario with a large garden and large heart! We do not have children, but 1 senior and 1 older dog. I also have a large aquarium and a senior hamster that I care for too. Around our century house you will see a sectioned off dog area from the vegetable garden although I would rather take dogs for walks, hikes and dog parks then have them spend any considerable amount of time wandering the yard. I am a regular volunteer for the Brantford food bank and part of the Brantford Garden club and Equal Ground community gardens. I am passionate about all things having to do with the natural world. I love plants and animals and caring for the community at large. In the past I have been a customer service worker, personal support worker, landscaper and horticulturist - the pattern being that I am inspired to help foster life and happiness! I have had pets since I was a small child and have taken care of family and friends dogs, cats and other pets for over 25 years.
