I moved to Vancouver to go to school for Dental Hygiene. I am currently waiting to write my board exam for my license in September and am looking for a flexible job to accomodate. My partner and I are living downtown and currently have a geriatric cat of our own. My past work experience was being a chef, I have worked in many settings including: lodge work, health care, restaurants, and farms. I am a big advocate for animals and have a big heart. My services range from daily exercise routines for high-energy pets, brushing teeth/fur, and providing the necessary care for senior animals. I also have experience in administering oral medication. I'm predominantly available in the mornings and evenings from Monday to Thursday. I currently have a loving American Terrier rescue named Lucy, a sweet grey cat named Koda (Bean), some neon tetras and a snail and a leopard geck named Yoshi 😊 I provide all the care for them and have had each of them for minimum 5 years, except for Yoshi, my lizard who is a new addition (2 years). I can care for your animals as if they were my own, whether it be walking them, feeding them, loving them, or simply just being there to watch them. You can count on me to make sure they are well taken care of! I would also like to add that I have been taking care of my terminally I'll partner for 3 years now, so I have plenty of medical experience in the event that medication needs right be administered. I had pets when I was younger, I took care of cats, dogs, and fish. I had pet growing up so I know how to properly taking care of them, as well I used to walk dogs when I was younger.

I introduce myself; I am María Fernanda Elías, Chilean, I am 26 years old, and I have a degree in Chemical Civil Engineering (Last Year). I love animals, but unfortunately I am allergic to cats, but if there is a good anti-allergy where you live, let me know and we can work with it. I have worked with families who have cats, they let me know beforehand, and I am prepared for those occasions. I have grown up with animals all my life, so I take care of my own animals (dogs, hamsters and rabbits). Already in 2015 I started taking care of neighbors' pets, taking care of them, walking them, going to visit them, feeding them and sleeping with them in their own homes.

I am a masters student in the Theatre program and I have years of experience with working with children. I have been teaching theatre to kids of all ages as a hired employee or as a volunteer for a decade. I enjoy spending my time with energetic, pure souls and that means children and animals.
