• Performs healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs to detect deviations from norm • Oversees the patient’s medication management through proper and timely medication, and keeps a daily journal of medicine intake. • Administers feeding via PEG tube as scheduled with the correct amount and dosage as ordered. • Observes patient’s conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output, and reports changes to professional staff. • Observes and records patient’s reactions to the provided feeding diet, medication and therapy treatments. • Monitors and performs RBS test. • Performs oral suctioning when needed. • Administers oxygen as ordered when needed. • Accompanies the patient to medical appointments. • Administers bedside and personal care. • Personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, perineal care, skin care and PEG tube care. • Assists patient with physical therapy treatments. • Provides patient with help in exercising, bending of arms and knees. • Assists patient by proper turning every two hours to avoid bed sore, lesion edema and etc. • Assists in the transportation of patient to and from destinations through trolley and automobiles • Coordinates with medical team on emergency assistance of ambulance. • Assists the patient with daily living activities. • Offers emotional support, companionship and conversation. • Obtains household supplies and runs on daily errands. • Maintains a clean, healthy and safe environment for the patient.
