I am an international educated nurse these are some of my work experience: Handling outpatient, Non-Covid inpatient, Covid-19 Positive and Negative inpatient in the medical/surgical ward with renal problems, and ICU patient ( who needs bedside hemodialysis treatment) Prepares the area and hemodialysis machines for the treatment of patients, arranges patients schedule in coordination with the physician. Assists doctor’s for patient’s will undergo endoscopy and or colonoscopy procedure. Obtains patient’s data, and documents these on patients’ profile sheet, Renal and Endoscopy Registry Logbook. Checks patency and condition of patient’s vascular access and refers to the physician for unusual signs and symptoms. Monitor vital signs and machine parameters every 30 minutes and document data. Administers medicine as specified by physician Transfuses appropriately-typed and cross matched blood during treatment as per physicians order. Overseeing the entire dialysis therapy and monitoring the patient’s response to it as well as notifying a physician in case of adverse dialysis reaction. Conduct health teaching about managing the disease. This includes the type of food the patient eat, the level of activity needed and medications. Educate family and patients about signs and symptoms to watch out for that may indicate abnormalities and complications. Communicate with respect. Influence the patients view through positive outlook.
