I'm originally from India. I have been living in canada since 2013. I completed my bachelor's of nursing from India. I dance alot on my free time. I'm an outdoor person who loves to travel and meet new people.

I have gained excellent patient-care and organizational skills in a variety of health care environments, which makes me an ideal candidate for the role. In addition to my professional experience as a Nurse in India, I have graduated in Recreation Therapy program and presently working as Recreation Therapist in Wentworth Manor. Throughout my Nursing and recreation Therapy I learned how to effectively deliver services for clients in home health, long-term care, and special needs school settings. I completed my first and second semester of the Activation Coordinator Program at Meighen Manor Old age Care Home. This is where I first gained my experience in organizing events and programs in an Alzheimer care setting. I have completed my second-year placement at St. Hilda's Retirement Home as an Activation student. During this placement, I have got training in transferring patients using celling lifts to chair, commode bed etc. I have good knowledge in giving all personal care for the population in the past three years. I have been working full time at Birchwood Terrace as an Activation Assistant. I was responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating programs that focus primarily on areas which are rehabilitative in nature. This focus consists of physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of the needs of residents. In addition, I was also working at District of Kenora Home for the Aged as a casual activation assistant. From this experience, I have had several opportunities to conduct individual and group activation programs for seniors. I have planned and conducted luncheon for families and residents for special holidays. Moreover, I have a background in nursing, excellent problem-solving skills and a good caring and sympathetic approach to clients. I hold strong communication skills and admirable organizational traits which are necessary in planning and coordinating activities.
