My name is Jessica. I have a strong desire to help people, especially those that are elderly and need or want a companion. Someone to simply talk to or need a hand doing daily chores around the house, going for walks and a trip to the store or doctors appointment. I work with hospice clients in their own home giving them someone to spend time with while their family is away. Sometimes clients don’t have anyone they can visit with and I am more than happy to be that person for them. My full time job is in the funeral industry. It has been a passion of mine since I was a young teenager. Some of the things I enjoy are: walking, trying new things, spending time with my family, baking and singing in a choir.

I have volunteered as a companion for Hospice for over a year now. I visit clients in their own homes and keep them company and give them someone to talk to or simply have someone there.
