I am recently retired from my last job which was at the Pointe Claire Aquatic Centre. I was both a lifeguard and an instructor for all of the aquatic programs. During the past year I have had the pleasure of being a caregiver for an elderly lady. My main job as her caregiver was to provide companionship and basically improve the quality of her life through many engaging activities, music, art, reading, light exercise and coordination games. I am very active energetic person and enjoy being able to bring a little extra joy the lives of others, which in turn brings joy to my life too. I am married (32 years) and we have two sons. I also have two cats and enjoy pet care too. Patience and understanding others are my best attributes. I am also very creative and can apply this to any situation. I am looking for part-time work of approximately 6-12 hours per week and my days/hours are very flexible with the possibility of some weekends too. Willing to work in conjunction with other caregivers.

Cared for my own mother after her diagnosis of dementia. Cared for an elderly woman in a retirement home for approximately 6 months. Worked at the Pointe Claire Aquatic Centre for 15 years, worked with seniors and young children's programs.
