I am Nkeiruka, a Registered Nurse (RN) with 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry and fully certified in First Aid. I reside in Edmonton and am currently seeking a full-time role as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker. My extensive experience has prepared me well to provide professional care in different settings including Home Health Care, Retirement Homes, and Clinic/Hospital. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with patients diagnosed with a range of conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Diabetes and many others. This has equipped me with the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care for such patients. I am proficient in a wide array of duties including heavy patient lifting & transfer, bathing assistance, dressing grooming assistance, toileting assistance, range of motion exercise, housekeeping, laundry, assist with walking, vacuuming, hand wash dishes and escorting to appointments. My unique mix of skills also extends to Alzheimer/Dementia care, Palliative Care, Supervise Home, Parkinson Care, Lifts and Transfers, and Patient Positioning.
