Hello, my name is Kamaljeet and I am based in Dartmouth. I am an experienced health care worker with two years of experience providing care and support to patients with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I am currently seeking full-time or part-time employment starting from 12th of September, 2023 as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker. I have a versatile skill set which includes housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, cleaning bathrooms, assisting with walking, vacuuming, hand washing dishes as well as providing care specialized for Alzheimer's/Dementia. Drawn to the health care field, I took my passion and honed it acadically, earning a social service worker(gerontolgy)certificate from college. I am available throughout the week, with more flexible hours in the middle of the day and evenings. My preferred work environments are home health care settings and retirement homes where I can establish meaningful connections with my patients while providing them much needed support. Please note that while I am compassionate and caring, I am less suited for working with children with disabilities due to lack of specialized training. My preference is a live-out arrangement. I am confident in my caregiving skills and am committed to providing the best support and care to those who need it.
