I’m a 48 year old caregiver who has been doing it all my life and loves what I do. I am from Cape Breton and moved to Halifax when I was 16. I started child care when I was 18. After childcare I took a little course which is now CCA but it wasn’t required to have certification when I was first starting. I worked at RJF, Bayshore, and Shannex, with Shannex being 15 years. I currently work with Scotia Personnel, but don’t have a client at the moment as mine just recently passed away. I am looking for anything, whether it be live in care, live out, dayshift, evenings, on call, etc.

I have worked in Child Care before healthcare, such as Dalhousie daycare before it was closed down. As well as RJF heath care, Bayshore, Shannex for 15 years, and Scotia Personnel as of recent as a live in caregiver.
