I have worked in the healthcare system and observing other family members who had a life long career in the field, as a child it was common for us to go to our mothers employment and visit sometimes for hours and as we grew older the residents became a part of our everday life, the Adult living residence wasn't far from our home! I have learned so much in those years about compassion, empathy, respect for those who resided in the residence and this was their home! It became very clear to me that some do this for the genuine feeling for helping others, and some were there because it was a job! My background stems from starting as a cleaner to an Educational Coordinator, Cook, Addictions & Community Services, and Nursing homes. I am a single 53 yr, old female, who has absorbed every lived experience and apply those when needed. I am culturally educated, My interests are food, books, sports, equine sports and gardening.
