I'm proud to say that I'm a person of great character, underscored by kindness, honesty, and a stellar personality that shines through. Adventure for me may come in numerous forms, but one of my absolute favorites lies in the art of cooking and baking. The aroma of fresh produce, the act of nurturing ingredients into mouthwatering dishes, and the joy of sharing those creations speak the language of love to me. Over the course of my life so far, one of the roles I cherish and am incredibly proud of is being a mother. I am blessed with the precious experience of 25 years in motherhood. However, my capabilities stretch beyond raising children. I'm also an experienced and certified Personal Support Worker (PSW). A significant part of my career has been devoted to Alzheimer's care in which I invested seven meaningful years. My substantive work was not just confined within the sterile walls of a medical facility. I also embraced the challenge and satisfaction of providing care within individuals' home environments. Having community-related work experience and having held live-in positions represent additional realms of my professional journey. My promotion of independent living in the community, coupled with an active and valid driver's license, further expands the extent of the care I can provide. Nourishing relationships are vital to me, and I have a profound record of providing companionship as part of my role. I'm not merely an assistant, but a friend. Running errands such as grocery shopping or accompanying individuals to medical or other appointments becomes not a duty, but a pleasure when seen through the prism of providing compassionate care. I am also more than capable of extending my care-giving skills to the younger ones. Providing child care is something that I can confidently offer, built on the firm foundation of my experience as a mother. The realm of my services doesn't just end with day-to-day assistance. I have a passion for travel and am more than happy to incorporate this into my work by offering travel assistance. Providing aid and companionship on international trips while ensuring safety and ease of journey is another service I'd love to provide. Be it a local appointment or a trip overseas, I am committed to providing the necessary care, companionship, and support.
