Greetings! I would like to express my deepest interest to apply for any positions that are suitable for my qualifications in your office. I am from the Philippines, and I am currently living in Nanaimo BC. I am a teacher by profession but I worked in Israel as a live-in caregiver for 6 years, where I assisted my employer with dementia and Alzheimer’s diseases with daily living needs. My first job is a caregiver and it’s been a while since I stopped working as a caregiver but the passion to work with the elderly people remains in my heart. I am deeply committed to treating my employer with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care. I also planned creative activities that my employer needed and physical/mental abilities. Examples: card games or board games etc. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoyed working with my employer. Though I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my employer, the lessons that I learnt from them that they have in return made a lasting impact in my life.
