My name is Theresa. I’m 21 years old and I come from a family of 5; 3 sisters and 1 brother. I have grown up with lots of cousins, children and a larger family. I grew up in a Christian home my whole life, going to church every weekend and keeping my faith very central in my life. Growing up as a young girl I always desired to be a Mother with many children. Being around many children within my own family and also caregiving, babysitting, nannying and working in the school board has allowed me to live out my hearts desires to the fullest. I just came off a mission year serving families and youth across Canada. Back in 2018 I served in El Salvador, building homes and giving away clothing and food to the poor. Being a missionary, serving others, helping others and fostering a life of service is very important to me. I’ve worked in care homes with the elderly and helped them with their personal care as well. I love being active; playing volleyball, running and any sports. I love adventure, being outdoors, and doing fun activities or just simply watching a movie all cozied up on the couch. I also love hiking. I have a bubbly, outgoing personality. I’m very friendly and I’m most certainly a people person. Being with young kids of all ages brings me so much life. I am able to relate well to others, fill a need where there is one, help with children in personal care and be creative and play with them. I believe strongly in loving people where they’re at, guiding others in love and creating healthy conflict amongst people around me (no yelling, raising your voice etc). You will most likely find me smiling and laughing, trying to bring joy in all places of my life. I’m very family oriented and I am willing to join and help out a new family in my life whom I’m called to grow with in friendship and authenticity.

I went to school as a personal support worker (care aid) in Ontario. I’ve worked in retirement and nursing homes with elderly and those with special needs (young adults, kids and adults).
