My name is Patricia. I love to care for the vulnerable people. My experience with my father as a stroke patient made me develop love and care for clients with mobility and health problems.

As a personal support worker, I have had the opportunity to work closely with individuals who require assistance with their daily activities due to physical or cognitive limitations. I have provided support to clients in their homes. In my role, I have helped clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. I have also assisted with mobility and transfers, as well as provided emotional support and companionship to clients who may be feeling isolated or lonely. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a personal support worker is the relationships I have been able to build with my clients. I have had the privilege of getting to know their unique personalities, preferences, and stories, and I take great pride in being able to provide them with the care and support they need to live comfortably and independently. I have also had the opportunity to work as part of a team of healthcare professionals. This has allowed me to develop my communication and teamwork skills, as well as learn from the expertise of my colleagues. Overall, my experience as a personal support worker has been incredibly fulfilling and has deepened my passion for helping others in need. I am grateful for the relationships I have formed and the impact I have been able to make in the lives of my clients.
