My name is Noriko. I'm from Venezuela. I've been living in Canada for more than 2 years, the same time in Montreal. I have a 9 year-old daughter. I'm a single mother. My mom lives with me and she is also someone with a disability. She is diabetic, so I'm familiar with that diagnosis. I feel that being a caregiver for older adults or children is a great responsibility and has a lot to do with the passion to truly improve their quality of life. It's about having great respect for them and becoming the greatest support in their lives, even for their family members.

I help elder people with household tasks, whether light or not, including their laundry. If necessary, I do small grocery shopping and prepare their daily meals. I clean and bathe them to avoid any health complications. I can give them a hand with their regimens or physical therapies. I also help manage and monitor their medication. I can do other household tasks to improve their quality of life. I am a single mother, my daughter is 9 years old, so I also have a lot of experience in childcare too.
