I am a well-trained professional with a Caregiver/Companion certification, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate, and I also hold First Aid and CPR certificates. With more than five years of experience in providing senior assistance and health care, I have worked closely with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Visual and Hearing Impairment, Arthritis, and those who are bedridden and require incontinence care. I am efficient in a multitude of duties which range from general housekeeping, meal planning, and preparation to personal care tasks like bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and range-of-motion exercises - always ensuring a clean, safe, and caring environment for my patients. I am proud of my ability to administer timely and efficient care, which is why I also provide services such as lifting and transfers, toileting assistance, and specialized care for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I firmly believe that strong companionship leads to better care, hence I offer to plan visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbours, friends, and family, ensuring the patient's social interaction is maintained. My availability spans through the week with flexible hours in the mornings, evenings, and nights, including weekends. My preferred workplace setups are Home Health Care environments, Retirement Homes, and Clinic/Hospital settings. However, I am currently not open to long-distance travel or relocation, but residing in Sarnia, I am available to cater to needs in and around this location. Please note that I am a non-smoker, have a clean police record, and I speak English. While I do not have the facility to provide transportation, I am competent in providing care and support to children with disabilities.
