I am a 31-year-old male nurse, single, and I’m actively looking for a full-time (30 hours/week or more) live-in or live-out caregiver or home support worker job. As a foreign worker, I hold an open work permit obtained through the Federal Government’s Home Support Worker Pilot program. My work permit is valid for 3 years, until Oct. 2026. This permit authorizes me to work legally in Canada as a caregiver or home support worker within a private home. Employers don’t need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire me. With many years of nursing experience, I am competent in providing care and home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes. I am currently completing the last few weeks of my employment in Singapore before flying to BC, but I am willing to relocate to any province at my own cost. Dong Hao was hired as live-in caregiver to care for my mother, who was in her 80s, fell and broker her shoulder, and underwent a major surgery, while my father was recovering from a stroke. This was in early 2022, and Dong worked for 6 weeks on a temporary basis until a permanent caregiver was recruited by my family. As a experienced nurse, Dong was knowledgeable. He's also a very caring person and performed his duties well. My parents were very satisfied with his service.
