I’m a 26 year old with a 5 year health care back ground who is looking for full time work! I live here in St. John’s and I have a drivers license and my own transportation! I’m very dedicated and dependable, I’m looking for somewhere long term for employment and hoping to make a difference in someone’s life! I can take on multiple tasks at once and successfully fulfill them in a timely manner. I do not get stressed out or overwhelmed easily I can take on a large workload I have completed a gentle persuasive approach course also and have gained much from it! i do not drink, or smoke, or party, im a very progress driven individual. I’m very athletic, I take part in all star cheerleading here in St. John’s once a week, and I’m also very instrumental one of my hobbies is playing accordion! I graduated from the personal care attendant program in 2019. I have a lot of experience in long term care, and retirement homes as well as personal care homes. I have excellent time management skills and am very familiar with dealing with patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, behavioural issues, and patients who are completely dependent. Being a PCA has been the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done, and my desire to care for and help people is never ending! I want to make a positive impact in the workplace and to any coworkers or patients/residents I come across!
