My name is Isha, a devoted health care enthusiast currently pursuing my Pre Health Science studies at Confederation College. Armed with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, I'm equipped to take on various tasks related to health care and assistance. Despite my lack of formal work experience, my academic background and the practical exposure obtained during my studies have provided me with an excellent foundation in patient care, especially those diagnosed with Diabetes and Visual Impairment.
Available for both part-time and live-in roles, my availability spans throughout the week, with a particular emphasis on mornings, evenings, and nights. From performing tasks such as housekeeping and errands to providing personal care such as helping with dressing and grooming, ensuring patients' comfort and well-being is at the center of my passion for health care.
In addition to basic tasks, I also have experience in more clinical tasks such as patient positioning, assisting in walking, and lift transfers – all skills I have gained throughout my academic journey. Moreover, I'm comfortable in a variety of settings including Home Health Care, Clinics or Hospitals, and Retirement Homes.
I am keen to utilize these skills in a Caregiver or Companion role where I can ensure the safety and the overall quality of life of those I am caring for while also supporting their independence. I am ready to start immediately and look forward to contributing my time and energy positively.
