I bring with me a wealth of experience, boasting three years of caring for patients in a variety of settings such as home health care, retirement homes, and clinical/hospital environments. As someone who possesses an extensive background in this demanding yet deeply rewarding profession, I am adept at tasks including but not limited to, Oxygen Administration, heavy patient lifting and transfer, assistance with grooming, bathing, toiling, meal preparation, housekeeping tasks, and specialized care for serious diagnoses such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's and Cancer. Additionally, I am trained and comfortable performing more technical tasks such as administering injections, tube feeding, catheter and colostomy care, to name a few. I am proud to hold several formal qualifications, including a Caregiver/Companion certificate, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate, and a Health Care Aides (HCA) certificate. Moreover, my education extends to college, associates, bachelor's, and even master's degrees, equipping me with a thorough understanding of this field. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, each with their unique sets of needs and challenges, and am trained to care for special conditions including quad/paraplegic care, stroke, hospice, diabetes, and visual impairment. In terms of my personal life, I am a 23-year-old non-smoker who is happy to relocate or travel as needed for the right full-time live-in or live-out position. I can work flexibly throughout the week, available in the morning, middle of the day, evening, or night. I also have a driver's license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes. Apart from the care I provide to my patients, I am comfortable assisting with pet care and planning social visits and outings. I’m extremely devoted to providing the best possible care for each individual, promoting their dignity and independence. My communication skills have been honed through my working experience and my proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I have a current police check for further peace of mind.
