Hi there,
I'm Sarah, a compassionate, and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) student with 1 year of enriched experience in elderly care. I reside in Toronto and am readily available to begin work. My passionate demeanor has enabled me to work with patients suffering from Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cancer, Diabetes, and other health conditions. Having gained experience in this field, I've developed a good understanding of what goes into taking care of the elderly in their daily life.
I am available for full-time work, predominantly during the evenings, nights, and the middle of the day on weekends. Even though I lack personal transportation, my flexibility allows me to relocate or travel as required for the job. I maintain a clean lifestyle and do not smoke.
Although I don't have children of my own, I am capable of working with children who have disabilities. My preference is for a live-out arrangement. Some of my key skills include Bed Pan, Hoyer Lift, Bathing Assistance, Dressing Grooming assistance, Toileting Assistance, Range of Motion Exercise, Housekeeping, and more.
Furthermore, I have a solid educational background including a First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Caregiver / Companion certification, and PSW Certificate. My preferred areas of work are Home Health Care and Retirement Homes.
As a responsible citizen, I have a clean police check and am fluent in English. My aim is to offer personalized and professional care as a Caregiver / Companion or Personal Support Worker to bring comfort, safety, and respect to people in need. I look forward to starting a new chapter in my career where I can share my knowledge and experiences to enrich lives.
I have worked with an organization that dealt with elderly, I'm a student doing PSW, and will be graduating soon. Loving, compassionate and funny person to be with. I also do volunteering at fudger house.
