I hold a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, a First Aid Certificate and a CPR Certificate, as well as a college degree. I am trained and experienced in tasks such as Hoyer Lift, Bathing Assistance, Dressing Grooming assistance, Toileting Assistance, Range of Motion Exercise, plan visits, outings & trips, provide Alzheimer/Dementia care, Palliative Care, Parkinson Care, Lifts and Transfers, Tube Feeding, Patient Positioning, and Catheter/ Colostomy Care. I am proficient in working with patients diagnosed with Pneumonia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, Diabetes, Incontinence (diapers), Osteoporosis, Visual Impairment and Arthritis. My preferred areas of employment are Retirement Homes and Home Health Care where I can commit to part-time job while living-out.
