My name is Ertha, a registered nurse from the Philippines. I was an international student at Langara College in Vancouver, where I enrolled in the Recreational Leadership program, although I didn't finish it. Instead, I chose to work as a full-time caregiver. I currently live in New Westminster. I am employed part-time as a private caregiver/companion for a dementia patient at the Fair Haven facility. Unfortunately, my full-time patient, who was suffering from cancer, passed away last month, so I am now searching for a new full-time role. Taking care of elderly people is my passion; I have a high level of patience and understanding which makes me perfect for this role. The other thing I love is cooking; this has even led me to obtain a Food Safe Certificate here in BC. I occasionally bake and sell food in my spare time. Aside from caregiving and cooking, exercising and gardening are pastimes I also enjoy.

I work in the hospital in the Philippines as a Nursing assistant for 2yrs and 3 months as a Registered Nurse. Caring to patient, like bedside care, giving medications through intravenous and oral medication and other clinical jobs are my forte.
