Hello! My name is Aline, a passionate health care worker based in Vancouver. I bring 4 years of experience to the table, having split my time working in nursing homes and providing individualized care to the elderly in their homes. I was drawn to health care in my pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in College, during which I interned at a nursing home and directly worked with geriatric patients under varying diagnoses including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Stroke, Incontinence (diapers), Osteoporosis, and Arthritis. Importantly, I hold a caregiver/companion and home support worker certificate, and am well-versed in first aid procedures in case of emergencies. I am also willing to obtain a police check and have demonstrated the ability to relocate and travel to carve out the best care plans for my patients. I truly value personalized care and understand the unique needs for patients with varying diagnoses. I am experienced in housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, and even providing assistance with pet care and walking. Additionally, I am equipped to assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and facilitating range of motion exercises. For those in need of company, I'm more than willing to plan visits, outings, and trips to neighboring areas, family, and friends. I can effortlessly switch between English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and provide services on all weekdays and weekends, both day and night. I am open to both live-in and live-out arrangements and seek part-time work in home health care environments.
