Hello! My name is Grace, I’m 19, and I currently, I live in Vermilion Alberta, and am moving to Saskatoon in September of this year! I completed my HCA certification at Lakeland college, in Lloydminster Alberta. I have worked in supportive housing here in vermilion since March of 2023. Im able to give medications and do simple wound care, home making tasks, personal care, and family support + planning. Before this, I worked in the long term care centre of cold lake Alberta, as a CCA, getting experience of hands on work with the elderly, along with emotional connections. It inspired be to become an HCA! With my certification and experience in caring for the elderly, Im able to understand the importance of not only meeting their physical requirements but also emotional support and companionship. I believe that every individual deserves to be dignified, and prioritized. Not only elderly, but I’m certified to work with special needs, children with disabilities, and newborns! I would love to discuss a position that I could be secured with, before I move to Saskatoon!

I graduated as an Health Care Aide in 2022. I worked at the Valley Lodge in Vermilion Alberta There is one HCA in each house, and they look after X amount of residents. We do cooking, cleaning, medications, wound care? On call phones, answering calls, talking with family members, etc.
