I am a Filipina 56 years of age, married, I am compassionate and patient. Aside from caregiving, I also love cooking, I design dresses, gowns, and do the cutting and sewing.

The main being that the pandemic has reignited my passion for helping others. It became evident to me- and I'm sure to evrybody - that during times of crisis, coming together and pitching in make a ton of difference. Whether it's healthcare workers gathering up the courage to show to show up to work admist very high demands, or friends checking up chalenges a little less daunting. For me specifically, this meant revisiting my passion for assisting and caregiving. I have done this for both my elderly parents when they were alive. I lived with and cared for my mother in her old age, until her passing 2011, and my father, until his passing in 2017.. In 2003, I also took a caregiver training program . I am naturally patient and compassionate person. I believe these are great attributes to be successful in a potential support career. I do realize that I am going back to care life. However, I beieve that it is never too late to pursue a career. Aside from caring my parents. I have also been a housewife all my life. My husband and I raised a child, who is now a successful engineer living in Canada.. I am quite proud of the fact that I a woman in my 50's determined to achieve another challenge. I also want to add that caring for a Canadian Institution or home base facility will make my profile more competitive.
