I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology from Eduvos University and am presently continuing my education in Liberal arts at Thompson River University. Despite having only a year of professional experience, I've demonstrated my ability to thrive under various conditions. My work at Hamleys Fourways saw me providing superior customer service, negotiating intricate contracts, managing significant accounts and acclimating to shifting market conditions. Beyond my professional experiences, I have also volunteered at the Kasipiti Children’s Home in Zimbabwe, where I learned invaluable lessons about empathy and patience. I am skilled at preparing students for exams, using the Montessori method, and accommodating children with special needs. My background in psychology enables me to understand and cater to the unique learning needs of children of different age groups, ranging from 3 years old to adults. As a private tutor and early childhood educator, I am comfortable tutoring both at an employer's home and online. I can teach a variety of subjects including Literature, English, Philosophy, Psychology, and Social science. Beyond academics, I provided emotional support and guidance, serving as a mentor and confidante to the children. Many of them faced profound challenges and traumas, and I was dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where they felt valued and empowered to thrive.
