I am from the beautiful island of St Lucia but I recently moved to Canada to purse my Masters in Public Health. In St Lucia, I taught for 8 years but was apart of the teaching service for 11 years. I first taught elementary school but after receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry I was transferred to high school where I taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Education. I loved being a teacher and after only one year at my high school I was made head of department. My first job after moving to Canada was a homeschool teacher. I taught two amazing little ones! I am currently a student myself at McMaster but I also nanny a little 8 year old social butterfly and an adorable 10 month old. I have always loved working with kids/teens whether tutoring or nannying.

I first taught as an elementary school teacher for two years. I assisted in the Math department but I was never hired as a math teacher but I also enjoy math. I taught at this high school for 6 years.
