My name is Roselyn but most people call me Rosie. I'm excited to use my skills and experience as a dedicated and nurturing nanny. Having over a decade of experience in child care, I've worked with children of all ages, from newborns to children over 10 years old. I'm experienced in providing care for children with disabilities, which highlights my inclusivity and flexibility to cater to a child's unique needs. In both live-in and live-out arrangements, my services extend beyond traditional expectations. Not only will I ensure your children are well-cared for, but I also offer a range of domestic tasks to ensure a warm, tidy, and organized home environment. These duties include cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, meal preparation for kids, laundry services for both children and the family, ironing children's clothing, helping with homework, adhering to any specific dietary rules required, and even pet care. If needed, I am also capable of supervising other household staff and organizing events. Apart from my varied experience, I consider my educational background a strong asset. I have undergone First Aid and CPR Training along with Certified Nanny and Elderly Care Training. I also hold a College degree and am a certified Special Needs Educator. Therefore, I am not only looking for a nanny job. I'd also be grateful for opportunities as a babysitter, housekeeper, tutor, mother's helper, or special needs caregiver. I am available full time, extending from mornings to evenings throughout the weekdays. I'm open to caring for up to three children and am eagerly looking forward to providing them with the best care and making the household chores seem like a breeze to the parents. First of all, I want to be perfectly clear that as of July 10, 2021, I am fully vaccinated against COVID. I got both shots of Moderna. I was born in Vancouver, and have lived in the Lower mainland more than half my life. I am single, no kids of my own. In my spare time, I like reading, watching TV, swimming, walking, shopping, surfing the internet and cooking and baking. I look forward to hearing from you. My phone number is not the one on my profile. Please call me at. I have 10+ years of childcare experience. Before I graduated from high school, I babysat for several different families. Now that I am out on my own, I am looking for a full-time nanny position or more than one part-time nanny position that would equal a full-time position. I have looked after up to 4 children at once, but for no longer than a day at a time. In my nannying positions, I have looked after children as young as 8 months and as old as 7 years. I have looked after a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have also learned some basic sign language, such as words that are most useful with non-verbal toddlers. I have done preschool and elementary school drop off and pick up. I am well-travelled on public transit and have taken up to three children on with me, sometimes with one in a stroller. On a day-to-day basis, I do not allow the children in my care to watch TV or play with electronics. I am very comfortable around cats and I like most dogs that are good around children. I would be interested in doing a nanny share. My hobbies are knitting, reading, watching TV and movies, going out, walking, using the internet and swimming and want to learn to knit and sew. I have also completed the Responsible Adult course through the Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre. This means I have 20 hours of basic childcare training in subjects such as Health and Safety, Nutrition and programming. I have done my first aid training course several times, most recently in March 2018. I was born in Vancouver (so I am a citizen) and have been living here for a total of 20+ years. When in nanny positions, I have done the laundry, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher or done the dishes, done grocery shopping, school drop off and pick up and mopped and swept the floor. I know how to change cloth diapers (not well, I am still learning how to do it so the diaper doesn't leak) and disposable. I know some sign language that is useful in communicating with babies (car, train, bus, more, hungry, water, etc. ) I have looked after children between the ages of 4 months and 10 years. I have taken care of up to 4 children at once for as long as a day (ages were 7, 5, 3 and 1. 5/2 years old OR 6, 6, 2. 5 and 1 year old). I like taking the children in my care to places such as Science World, the aquarium, play gym, Kidtropolis, Family place, drop-in programs such as the one at Hastings community centre, swimming, going for nature walks, Strongstart and the library (for storytime, to get new books as well as to play with the toys in the basement at the big Central branch downtown). When we're at home, I allow the children in my care plenty of time for independent play or independent reading time (even if they aren't reading as of yet), but I also like helping them with crafts, learning activities and reading stories to them.

Hello! My name is Laure. I’m originally from France, and I've been living in Vancouver since 2006. I'm also a Canadian citizen. I've always had a wonderful connection with children—they bring me so much joy, and I reciprocate with plenty of love and care. Perhaps my connection with kids comes from having a brother who is 12 years younger than me! I have a deep interest in mental health for adults and children, which has inspired me to study and practice various techniques that have proven valuable not only for me but also for those around me. As part of this journey, I now teach mindfulness to children aged 5 and older as a side business. I love to bake, especially when I can share my creations with friends, and I enjoy arts and crafts. I'm looking for a family with 2 children or 2 families to do a nanny share. I'm"ideally" looking for 3 to 4 days a week, with a minimum of 8 hours a day, but I'm flexible (since I'm also an entrepreneur) as long as I can get the hours and wage that I need to live. So please contact me if you think I might be interested in your needs. Looking forward to getting to know you! Best, Laure I have over 10 years of experience working with children aged 5 months to 12 years, often caring for two children from the same family or from two different families as part of a nanny share. I enjoy taking the children on outings to parks, libraries, community centers, Science World, the Aquarium, and swimming pools—if the conditions are safe. At home, we play, read books, bake, and I love to sing with them! I'm a nurturing and attentive nanny who follows modern parenting approaches to help children build resilience and kindness. When they're with me, children do not watch TV. I run a side business teaching mindfulness to kids aged 5 and up, which means your children will benefit from my expertise in co-regulation, laying the foundation for self-regulation skills. hours with MindfulSchools: Teaching mindfulness to children 5 to 18 years old 2002 - 2005 Bachelor of Arts, Multimedia Creation, Universite de La Rochelle (France) 2000 - 2002 Diploma in Photography, Lycée Auguste Renoir, Paris 2001 Certificate of Competency as a Camp Organizer (B.A.F.A.), specialized in seaside activities

Hi families! My name is Paula from Salamanca, Spain( which means I can help your children with their Spanish homework). I've been working with children since I graduated from high school and was always the "go-to" baby sitter for many families in my area before that. My experience includes babysitting and au pair for families in Spain, New Zealand, Portugal, the United States and Canada. I'm very friendly and bubbly and love getting to know new people and have never had a problem with having children warm up to me quickly! I am also comfortable watching every episode of Peppa Pig, PJ MASK or Paw Patrol (for the 100th time) I'm very honest and trust-worthy. - So, why pick me? Well, first off, I've practically got a PhD in forts, bedtime negotiations, and snack-time diplomacy. - What makes me the Mary Poppins you didn't know you needed? I've lived in more countries than I can count, so I come with a suitcase full of cultural insights and a knack for adapting to any kiddo's quirks. Flexibility? It's my middle name (not really, but it should be). - Do you want to know something else about myself? Now, here's the plot twist: I used to be a hotshot journalist and did the whole marketing agency thing for years. But guess what? My true calling is hanging out with kiddos! Who would've thought? I figured out that my heart belongs to the playground, not the boardroom. I'm not your average sit-on-the-sidelines nanny. Nope, I bring a journalistic flair to the mix. Interviews about favorite toys, breaking news on cookie thefts—it's all part of the gig. Plus, I've got the creativity to turn a rainy day into a full-blown indoor treasure hunt. In a nutshell, I'm not your run-of-the-mill nanny; I'm the Mary Poppins with many stories saved in my pocket, a sense of humor, and a knack for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Can't wait to chat more and bring some serious fun to your kiddos' lives. Let's make childcare an adventure! Cheers, Paula :) Ps: - Valid First AID and CPR certificate - YMCA BC's Responsible Adult Course in Child Development, Child Guidance, and Nutrition - Solid local references - Spanish Teacher certificate - Newborns, toddlers experience - Valid work permit - Dog lover ;) Hey there!👋 Not only am I an exceptional nanny, but I've also got a side gig as a sewing aficionado🧵. The pandemic turned me into a cross-stitch and embroidery enthusiast – my newfound zen. While I'm usually the go-to for cozy movie days under a blanket on Vancouver's rainy afternoons, I'm also the adventurous type. You'll find me chasing snow up at Cypress, exploring thrift stores for hidden gems, and immersing myself in the world of ceramics. Let's chat about education—I hold a journalism degree with masters in event organization and social media. A bit unexpected, right? Despite my letters-centric background, my love for kids took the spotlight, especially after discovering it through my travels. Speaking of travel, I'm an incurably curious soul, always eager to learn and discover new things and places. Traveling has been my greatest teacher, introducing me to incredible locations and people that I carry with me forever🌍. So, if you're looking for a nanny who can stitch up a storm, add a sprinkle of creativity, and bring an insatiable curiosity to your child's world, you've found her!🌈 Ps: - Valid First AID and CPR certificate - YMCA BC's Responsible Adult Course in Child Development, Child Guidance, and Nutrition - Solid local references - Spanish Teacher certificate - Newborns, toddlers experience - Valid work permit - Dog lover ;) Cheers, Paula
