I am a very active person who loves to hike, swim, camp, and explore nature. I love to share this enthusiasm with children and enjoy using the outdoors as our playground. An additional passion of mine is nutrition. From my competitive swimming background, I learned at an early age to take care of my body and fuel it correctly. Since then, I have developed a love of nutrition and greatly enjoy experimenting with healthy recipes, while of course sharing this passion and fun with kids! With over 8 years of experience as an elementary school teacher and a rich background in diverse roles as a nanny, I am well-equipped with the skills necessary to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for your children. My expertise extends to effectively fostering intellectual, social, and physical development in children of all ages, all while ensuring a fun and encouraging atmosphere! I welcome the opportunity to further discuss my qualifications and explore how my skill set aligns with the needs of your family. Please feel free to reach out if you would like additional information or if you wish to arrange a conversation to assess the potential fit. I look forward to potentially contributing to the well-being and development of your children. Sincerely, Nicole :) B. Ed (elementary curriculum) from the University of Victoria- 2015

Hello, my name is Michaela and I am from Czech Republic. I am in Canada for Working Holiday visa for one year so far. I love walking outside and exploring new places. I also love coffee, so many of my walks have quite a similar end - coffee in a good caffe. :) I prefer when I am not alone, good company is always good idea. I like to share ideas and everything around me and talk about it. On the other hand, there are many days of "I wanna be alone" and I enjoy days just with myself and I am happy. I really love plants. My flat in Czech republict (before my moving to Canada) looked like a jungle. When I was preparing to the Canada, my family got an important job - care of my plants during my absence. If you have some house plants, I would be happy and they would be happy too. :) I also love some sports as snowbaording, but I got an injury with my knee, so it's not so good as it used to be. And, of course and it is also the reason, why I am in Canada - I love travelling. But I prefer to act like a local and live a different life for a while. Like in a movie. I think that I am a really calm person with positive mindset. I am flexible and learn fast. I would say that children copy behavior of people who are around them so if you want a calm baby, it should spend time with me. :D My mum told me, that where she left me, there she found me when I was a small baby. If you want to know something about my background, so I grew up with my parents and older sister. I studied on the Mendel University in Brno, where I got a Bachelor degree from marketing and trade. Then I moved into the Prague and I studied Czech University of Agriculture and I got a Master degree from Marketing management. After my studies I worked in Marketing agency. I have no experience with babysitting myself, but my ex boyfriend has younger siblings and we spent a lots of time with them when they were from 5 yo to 8 yo, because their mother was sick. I would like to spend the most of the time of outside, go to the playground or walking in nature. We can also stay at home and play some games. When I would prepare food, I would like to involve children in cooking (but just fot things which are safe).

I am of Chilean nationality and I have lived in Vancouver for a few months. In Chile I am a physical education teacher and for some years I have held dance workshops for children of different ages. During my time in Vancouver I have worked in childcare part-time where I have gained more experience and knowledge. My responsibilities have included doing light house cleaning, feeding them, depending on the time of day, playing with them, watching TV, and telling them bedtime. If necessary, I can provide references to validate my work ethic and competency in this field. I consider myself a committed, detail-oriented, punctual and reliable person. In my free time I enjoy doing outdoor sports, reading and watching series. Additionally, I am dedicated to continually learning and improving my English language skills. My experience in childcare has been hourly, where parents go out to dinner or go to the movies. In my care time with them, we play, watch TV and after that they go to sleep corresponding to the time indicated by the parents.
