Location: Vernon (Predator Ridge), Nanaimo (Decourcy Island), and City of Vancouver About Us: We are a warm and welcoming family residing across the picturesque landscapes of Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and Vancouver. With busy schedules and active lifestyles, we are seeking a compassionate and responsible individual to join our family as an au pair. Our home is filled with laughter, adventure, and love, and we are excited to welcome someone who shares our values into our household. We are looking to have a second child in the near future and would love for the au pair to remain with us for a multi-year period. Position Overview: We are looking for an au pair to provide support with childcare and light household duties. This is a live-in position, offering a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of British Columbia while becoming an integral part of our family. We have homes in Vernon, BC (Predator Ridge) and Vancouver Island (Decourcy Island) that we spend the majority of our time. You would have a dedicated room/space at both of these properties. For the right candidate, they could still choose to live at home in either Vernon or Nanaimo, but they would have to live with us while we travel to the other houses. We also spend a lot of time in the City of Vancouver. When the opportunities arise, we would also like someone that is available to travel with us as well. The au pair will primarily be responsible for assisting with the care of our two-year-old son, as well as providing support with other household tasks. The job would start with a 2-month plus stay at our property on Vancouver Island. After that, we would be looking to relocate to Vernon in the Fall and stay there for a longer period. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with and supervise our two-year-old son in various activities, including playtime, developmental exercises, and outings. - Prepare and serve meals and snacks for our son, adhering to any dietary preferences or restrictions. - Assist with light household chores such as tidying up communal areas, children's laundry, and meal preparation. - Accompany the family on outings and excursions, providing additional support and supervision as needed. - Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for our son, promoting his emotional and social development. Qualifications: - Previous experience working with toddlers and young children, either as a nanny, babysitter, or au pair. - Genuine passion for childcare and a desire to positively impact the lives of children. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children of varying ages. - Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the needs and schedules of a busy household. - Valid driver's license . - First aid and CPR certification preferred. They'll be coming to visit me for a few days, but I work afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 But I won't be home till around 5:30 and I have to leave at around 1:30 p.m.

We are looking for full time live out childcare. We have an infant and a toddler. Our toddler does attend daycare most days. Option to start part time but we are looking for a full time transition in July at the latest and would give preference to someone interested in full time hours. I’m a mom of 2 under 2, currently on mat leave, looking for someone to help me with childcare at home as my husband works out of town. My children are 22 months and almost 6 months old. Hoping to find someone who could come assist me at home from late morning to late afternoon about 4-5 days a week. I imagine the majority of the time would be caring for my toddler so I can get some housework done or run some errands. Some possible cooking for my toddler for lunch time and maybe taking him on some outings. This would be an ideal position for a college or university student over the summer. We do have a dog and cat so would hope to find someone who doesn’t mind animals. If you are super keen to take my toddler and dog for a walk that would be a big bonus!

I am looking for someone to come and watch my 2 year old son on the occasional night. It will likely only ever be a Friday Saturday or Sunday evening. My house is in yellowpoint(rural Ladysmith). I plan to have him in bed or sleeping before I leave so you will mostly just be sitting and listening for any issue. He is a great sleeper and usually sleeps through the evenings without issue. You must have a vehicle but a car seat will be left if you don’t already have one just in case. I would prefer to meet before you come over. Please let me know if you have any questions.

My friend Maddy and I are looking for a nanny to watch our two wonderful boys when we return to work in January. We are looking for someone to provide a fun and safe atmosphere, who enjoys playing outside, a good dance party, and going on adventures! Both boys will be about 1 year old and are most often described as “very chill and ridiculously cute” babies . We are looking for 3 days/week of care, from 7:30-3:30. Infant CPR/First Aid, a clean driving record and access to your own vehicle, and experience with infants is required. We work from home and are available if needed - but would love a enthusiastic person to take them to playgrounds or on adventures enjoying our new city!!
