Hello, my name is Cole. I just moved into an apartment in Langford and work full-time during the week; I have joint parenting time with my son who lives with me Thursday to Sundays each week. I am looking for help with general housekeeping, meal prep, occasional childcare, and other errands as required. I live in Goldstream area so everything is within walking distance. The ideal candidate should be flexible, have experience with infants, and enjoy cooking! Looking to have someone in twice a week for meal prep and general housekeeping, with flexibility to be on call for occasional errands I can provide all supplies, and make sure you make food to eat/take for yourself. Duties will include: direct personal care, dressing, transferring, stretching, reading, walking, bowel/bladder management, food prep, dishes, light house cleaning, laundry, the operation of lift devices. We need a caring person to assist us with a three-day/night work shift a week working a Friday, Saturday, Sunday shift. We are looking for a nanny for our 4-year-old son. We live in Metchosin, near Royal Bay/Colwood area. We would also sometimes require some support in picking up our 6 year old from the nearby bus stop and caring for him for an hour after school. Our 4 year old is affectionate, chatty, curious, and imaginative. He loves arts and crafts, puzzles, building things, decorating and dressing up. He can also be strong-willed, skeptical, and has big emotions. He sometimes struggles with transitions and new places and new people. He is currently in a small local preschool Mon, Wed and Fri mornings. We are looking for the following: - 2 days/week, ideally Tuesday/Thursday, but could be flexible. (Ex Monday afternoons and Tuesdays) - Approx. 8:30am-4:00pm - Someone kind and patient, but also consistent, and able to be silly too. - Drivers License and own car is preferred, but use of ours is an option. - Willingness to attend activities and outings such as classes, playground, swimming pool, hikes, beach outings etc. - Someone with knowledge of toddler/pre-school age development preferred - Open to a nanny share if the right fit, or someone who has their own child. $22-24/hour, dependent on experience/training. Seeking Overnight Nanny for Newborn - Immediate Start I am actively searching for a reliable individual to provide overnight care for my newborn child 2-3 nights per week. The preferred days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This is an immediate need. This role is a live-in while performing duties, part-time position with 20 - 30 working hours per week. You would not need a driver's license as automobile use is not applicable. The sole focus will be my newborn baby, and only one child requires care. The candidate should be comfortable with newborns and be experienced in baby care.
