Hi I am Jane, Please text/call or email me I'm not able to see full messages or send a message without upgrading my account. I have been babysitting since I took the Red Cross Babysitting course at age twelve. I grew up with three siblings so I babysat my little brother and his friends for years. I looked after a four year old boy for two and a half years before moving to Victoria. When taking care of Lake I helped with his developmental set backs by specializing in Child-Led play; as well as outdoor activities and lots of indoor games. I also prepared meals and did light cleaning around the house. During this time I also did part time care for an 18 month old until he was three. Before coming to Lakes family I did part time childcare for a two year old until he was six. I would take Emmett to the park, play with him indoors, put him to bed and stay over night. I have had many other short term nanny jobs through out the years and have experience taking care of groups of five to ten children for the Nelson Waldorf School. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. :) My most recent position was with a four year old with autism for two and a half years before moving to Victoria. During that time I also did part time care for an 18 month old until he was three. I started babysitting a couple times a week after I took the Red Cross Babysitting course at age twelve, for a two year old. I was with his family until he started going to school full time when he was six. I also did summer and short term childcare for children of various ages. I went to a Waldorf School K-8 and to the local high school.

Hi there! I'm Rose, a warm-hearted and reliable nanny based in Victoria, BC. With a passion for nurturing and caring for children, I'm seeking a full-time or part-time live-out position with a lovely family in need of a responsible and dedicated caregiver. I specialize in providing exceptional care and a fun time for children, ensuring their safety, and well-being. I'm currently studying psychology at the University of Victoria and going into my 3rd year, but I am on summer break at the moment. I love spending time outdoors, listening to or making music, cooking, and spending time with friends. People who know me would describe me as nurturing, creative, and reliable. My services are available for both full-time and part-time positions, as well as summer-only arrangements. I also love pets, so they are more than welcome! My hourly rate is $19.00, reflecting my commitment to delivering the highest quality of care and support to the families I work with. If you're looking for a compassionate and trustworthy nanny to support your family's needs, please feel free to reach out to me. I'd love to connect and discuss how I can be of assistance to you and your little ones. I'm excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact on your family's life! I loved babysitting as a young teenager. I would take care of families with kids aged 4-10. This would involve entertaining the kids, usually through outdoor activities, cooking dinner, and making sure everyone gets to bed at a reasonable hour. After high school, I worked as a ski instructor in Whistler Blackcomb, taking care of up to 8 kids a day aged 3-12. Some of my responsibilities included entertaining, designing, and teaching lesson plans tailored to the kids, and making sure everyone was well-fed. While training to be a ski instructor, I got my CADS (Canadian Adaptive Snowsports) Level 1, which certified me to teach children and adults with disabilities. Outside of my childcare experience, I have mostly worked at coffee shops as a barista. I'm very used to customer service and food and beverage in fast-paced environments. I am currently working towards my bachelor's and taking my childcare emergency first aid/CPR on May 5!

I have a degree in Forensic Psychology and am currently getting my Masters in Counselling Psychology. In addition to my professional experience working with children and youth, I do have personal experience caring for children as I have 2 young nephews and 1 niece aged 7 months- 3 years who I have taken care of many times since they were born. Hello families, I am Layla! I am 20 years old and I am the oldest of three. I have been a caregiver since I could remember and have always created a nurturing atmosphere for those around me. I am a great help around the house and enjoy being able to support learning and conversation. I took courses in high school (peer tutoring in kindergarten classes) to build up skills such as: patients, problem-solving, dealing with highly emotional situations and to always have a fun game in your back pocket! I enjoy the outdoors, my number one way to get out of my head. Hiking and camping is a huge passion of mine. Another career path I tried out was cooking, absolutely love it but definitely prefer it as a hobby I can share with the people around me. I am always eager to learn new foods and new ways to prepare them. I am also a creative person, I enjoy photography, painting, drawing, crocheting and a good book! I think I would be be a good fit for your home because I am a clean and respectful individual. I am easy going and shy at first but will talk your ear off once I get to know you. I know this is a big change to take in a whole new person into your home and I understand communication is key and being able to create space for any questions or to set boundaries. I am a very present person, I love to be in the moment. So I can be able to listen and learn all that there is to learn. I want to be able to give all my love and energy into new relationships that I can have for years to come. I have a big appreciation for families that host, it’s absolutely amazing and look forward to giving a loving helping hand around your home! Moved to Victoria two years ago from SaltSpring island. Currently working my morning with family with one kiddo she is 2years old. On SaltSpring Island I was working with two families. One family I worked for with 2 year old boy and new born (she is now 1). I worked for them four days a week for a year. Love them to death and on good terms will be longtime friends. Worked for another family on Fridays with a 2 year old and 5 year old boys for a year and they are another family that I will continue to keep in touch with years to come!!
