I am a professional with 17 years working experience with dogs and cats, as a veterinarian in Brazil. I also have experience as an entrepreneur with a 3 store pet care center, sold in 2016. My English level is intermediate. Portuguese is my native language, but I can communicate in Spanish as well.

My name is Erika Matus, of Chilean nationality, I have been in Vancouver for more than two months and I am interested in starting to work in pet care. Since I was little I have understood that pets are a fundamental part of the family and their care is essential, I carry out the tasks delivered in detail, I was characterized by being kind, responsible, cheerful and punctual. I like to practice outdoor sports, ride a bicycle, read and watch series. In Chile I helped take care of a friend's pet. She was outside all day for paperwork and told me the meal times and the daily walk that had to be done with her pet. I respected the times she mentioned for her food, I played with her before going for a walk, I put her chain on her and there was no problem doing it. When we got to the park she played with other pets, I gave her a treat so I could put her chain on and go home.
